Why Talking Is a Good Idea
Buying jewelry online is intimidating. We should know. We've been selling online for 17 years.
We've taken a totally different approach. A personal one.
Remember how experiences used to be intimate? Jewelry buying should be an intimate experience.
It isn't about having the largest selection, or selling the cheapest (i.e. low quality) jewelry. We’re not aiming to be the Amazon of jewelry. We are a family-owned jewelry store in Modesto (California) that is very picky about quality and design. That's been our calling card since 1989.
Beautiful jewelry should stir the soul. Before selecting a piece for display we ask, “How does this design make me feel?”
In a world of infinite choice, it’s nice to slow down and appreciate the work of master craftsmen.
Don’t use your credit card to buy this. Not yet.
It’s 5:40 AM in Modesto right now. Call us and see why we fell in love with this piece. One shouldn’t ever have to buy jewelry online without asking all your questions first. Oh, that’s right, that’s what makes us different from the thousands of online jewelry sites out there.
When you call you aren’t talking to an agent in a call center. Your talking to either Ron Yates, Ashton Yates-Woolley, Marissa Stewart, Mechelle Yates, or Justice Carillo at our Modesto store location.
Product Details
Shopping for a 2 ct diamond solitaire ring? Looking for a killer deal? We got you covered!
It is a 2.23 ct. It is independently graded by EGL USA. EGL USA is the only EGL lab report you should trust. (The the European and New York EGL labs blatantly overgrade diamonds.)
This diamond is G color. Meaning that it is near colorless (very white). On a large diamond like this a G color is hard to find!
The diamond clarity is graded as I1. That means the stone is "included", and the inclusions are easy to spot with a jewelers loupe. Also, with the unaided eye in certain lighting conditions the inclusions may be visible. But on this particular diamond you could call it almost "eye clean"! Due to the high brilliance of this diamond with the naked eye it looks at least one clarity grade higher. You really do need to loupe it to see the inclusions. (But seriously, who is going to walk around with a jewelers loupe in their pocket asking to look at your ring?!)
What makes this stone really sparkle and dazzle (besides it's awesome color) is the cut. It received an IDEAL CUT cut grade. The diamond exhibits Hearts & Arrows pattern for maximum brilliance. Very few, maybe less than 5% of all diamonds, are cut to Ideal standards. The diamond is very crisp and bright. Tons of sparkle.
This diamond is mounted in a 6 prong 14K white gold solitaire ring. Of course, we can put it in one of our designer mountings. Or help you custom design an original ring.
Interested in this beauty, but not sure of it's great value? Go visit a couple of jewelry stores and compare. I think you'll be very pleased.
