Are you ready for a statement ring?? Here it is. A genuine vintage platinum & diamond ring. This uniquely beautiful ring is from the 1920s. The main diamond is a DOOZY! You are going to absolutely love the brilliance and fire this diamond throws off. It is an antique diamond, which is called a Old European Cut. It weighs, estimated by formula, 1.30cts. The clarity is very good - VS1-VS2. The color is better than average for it's time period - J-K. (Most larger diamonds mined at this time and earlier had strong brown hues, in the L-M-N-0 color range.)
Notice how there are two ribbon like diamond studded parts to this ring that wrap around the big diamond. The outer row has 6 diamonds, with the largest one on the end at .30ct.
The outer part has 21 diamonds, all pave' set. All these side diamonds are also Old European Cut diamonds.
These side diamonds really add some serious bling!. From every angle the sparkle is incredible. The total diamond weight of these diamonds is at least .90ctw.
Take a closer look at this ring. Do you see the fine milgrain detailing that was hand applied to the edges of the bezel and the swirl? Just delightful details that were used in vintage rings.
This platinum ring weighs 8.4 grams, and is size 6.0 - but can be re-sized.
