Why Talking Is a Good Idea
Buying jewelry online is intimidating. We should know. We've been selling online for 17 years.
We've taken a totally different approach. A personal one.
Remember how experiences used to be intimate? Jewelry buying should be an intimate experience.
It isn't about having the largest selection, or selling the cheapest (i.e. low quality) jewelry. We’re not aiming to be the Amazon of jewelry. We are a family-owned jewelry store in Modesto (California) that is very picky about quality and design. That's been our calling card since 1989.
Beautiful jewelry should stir the soul. Before selecting a piece for display we ask, “How does this design make me feel?”
In a world of infinite choice, it’s nice to slow down and appreciate the work of master craftsmen.
Don’t use your credit card to buy this. Not yet.
It’s 5:40 AM in Modesto right now. Call us and see why we fell in love with this piece. One shouldn’t ever have to buy jewelry online without asking all your questions first. Oh, that’s right, that’s what makes us different from the thousands of online jewelry sites out there.
When you call you aren’t talking to an agent in a call center. Your talking to either Ron Yates, Ashton Yates-Woolley, Marissa Stewart, Mechelle Yates, or Justice Carillo at our Modesto store location.
Product Details
Crafted in precious platinum (the clip back has been replaced with 14k yellow gold). Set with forty-three diamonds in each earring. And using a variety of diamond shapes - square emerald cut, Old European cut, baguette, and finishing off with incredible briolettes.
The design is reminiscent of a French style - and fit for royalty! Absolutely stunning design. Notice how the edges of the metal have delicate milgrain detail. And the center row of diamonds are independently attached and dangle, shimmering with your every movement.
The bottom diamond is called a briolette. It is an elongated drop-shape, with faceting over the entire diamond. They are usually drilled at the top so they can dangle. They were a popular antique cut for diamonds. And they are wonderful used in earrings. These briolettes measure approximately 6.6 x 3.5mm, with an estimated weight of .80ct each, for a total weight of 1.60ctw.
The twenty-six Old European cut diamonds in each earring are estimated at .70ctw, for a total of fifty-two, totaling 1.40ctw of glimmering diamonds. There are sixteen baguette diamonds in each earring, estimated at .32ctw, for a total of thirty-two for a total weight of .64 ctw. Up at the top there is a square emerald cut diamond being about .06ct, for a total weight of .12 ctw in the earrings
The estimated total carat weight is 3.76 ctw. The diamonds are very nice with an average clarity of VS1-VS2, and color of H-J. So many beautiful glittering antique diamonds!
We hope you love these earrings as much as we do. This pair is extremely special.
