Why Talking Is a Good Idea
Buying jewelry online is intimidating. We should know. We've been selling online for 17 years.
We've taken a totally different approach. A personal one.
Remember how experiences used to be intimate? Jewelry buying should be an intimate experience.
It isn't about having the largest selection, or selling the cheapest (i.e. low quality) jewelry. We’re not aiming to be the Amazon of jewelry. We are a family-owned jewelry store in Modesto (California) that is very picky about quality and design. That's been our calling card since 1989.
Beautiful jewelry should stir the soul. Before selecting a piece for display we ask, “How does this design make me feel?”
In a world of infinite choice, it’s nice to slow down and appreciate the work of master craftsmen.
Don’t use your credit card to buy this. Not yet.
It’s 5:40 AM in Modesto right now. Call us and see why we fell in love with this piece. One shouldn’t ever have to buy jewelry online without asking all your questions first. Oh, that’s right, that’s what makes us different from the thousands of online jewelry sites out there.
When you call you aren’t talking to an agent in a call center. Your talking to either Ron Yates, Ashton Yates-Woolley, Marissa Stewart, Mechelle Yates, or Justice Carillo at our Modesto store location.

Sold. Has a wonderful new home!
By renowned jewelry designer, Bulgari. From the iconic Serpenti Tubogas collection.
The Tubogas snake ring is crafted in rich 18K yellow gold and set with a genuine pear-shaped ruby for the serpent's head. We love how this sought-after ring coils around your finger like a serpent.
The Tubogas rings are expertly constructed to allow the ring to stretch from size 6 to size 8. As with all Bulgari creations, these are highly collected. This design was retired in the late 1990s.
Interesting facts: Did you know that in the late 1800's, Queen Victoria's engagement ring was in the form of an emerald and ruby set snake? This created the craze for serpent motif jewelry.
A Greek man by the name of Sotirious Voulgaris moved to Rome, Italy, and founded a jewelry firm in 1884. He changed his name to an Italian one, Bulgari. Serpents were his primary design theme. His serpent bracelets that wrapped around the wrist multiple times became famous, and some of them included watches in them.
In the 1940s the Tubogas collection was created. "Tubogas" literally means "gas pipe" and is the name given to a type of chain that is formed from interlocking gold strips wrapped tightly together. It forms a hollow but flexible tube where no soldering is needed. This flexibility of the coiled bands is what gives the Tubogas jewelry pieces its comfortable fit. It is iconic now and immediately jewelry aficionados recognize it as Bulgari.
Did you know that in Cleopatra, Elizabeth Taylor wears a Bulgari snake arm band? And in her publicity shots, she is seen wearing a Bulgari Serpenti watch. Over the years, Elizabeth Taylor added quite a number of Bulgari serpent pieces to her collection.
