Why Talking Is a Good Idea
Buying jewelry online is intimidating. We should know. We've been selling online for 17 years.
We've taken a totally different approach. A personal one.
Remember how experiences used to be intimate? Jewelry buying should be an intimate experience.
It isn't about having the largest selection, or selling the cheapest (i.e. low quality) jewelry. We’re not aiming to be the Amazon of jewelry. We are a family-owned jewelry store in Modesto (California) that is very picky about quality and design. That's been our calling card since 1989.
Beautiful jewelry should stir the soul. Before selecting a piece for display we ask, “How does this design make me feel?”
In a world of infinite choice, it’s nice to slow down and appreciate the work of master craftsmen.
Don’t use your credit card to buy this. Not yet.
It’s 5:40 AM in Modesto right now. Call us and see why we fell in love with this piece. One shouldn’t ever have to buy jewelry online without asking all your questions first. Oh, that’s right, that’s what makes us different from the thousands of online jewelry sites out there.
When you call you aren’t talking to an agent in a call center. Your talking to either Ron Yates, Ashton Yates-Woolley, Marissa Stewart, Mechelle Yates, or Justice Carillo at our Modesto store location.
Product Details
This designer ring is perfect for the lady who loves high karat yellow gold and the mesmerizing hue of aquamarine. This is an estate piece, we estimate originally sold in the 1990s, but in like-new condition.
Crafted in rich 18K yellow gold.
Why 18K yellow gold is better than 14K:
The benefit of 18K is it is 75% pure gold, so the color is more intense - just looks so much prettier than 14K yellow gold. (14K is 58% pure - so less gold, more nickel, silver and other allows that bring down the color hue.) 18K gold is denser than 14K (because gold weighs more than the allows), so it just feels better on the finger with the extra heft. Plus, 18K is more hypo-allergenic, due to less irritating allows. High end jewelry designers only use 18K gold - not 14k. (Try finding a Cartier or Tiffany 14K yellow gold ring...)
Notice the unique profile of this beauty. Take a look at the side profile - do you see it has that fascinating curvature? And the top is slightly concaved. You won't see this very often!
The gemstones are natural Aquamarines. The real deal. They are custom cut. The faceting is really eye catching. It is similar to a criss cut, with it's geometric look. The estimated carat weight of the Aquamarines is about 1.50ctw.
The top of the ring is 8mm wide by 18mm long (about 3/4" long). On the finger, it is stunning!
Don't miss out on this one. You'll never see another. To recreate this masterpiece, you'd be looking at about $3500+.
