Custom designed by Yates. What started out as a really cool purchase of twelve (12) matching fancy light yellow pear shaped diamonds, ended up becoming a gorgeous pair of flower earrings.
We ran across a lot of these twelve pear shaped diamonds, and thought they would make a perfect pair of earrings. Pulling them in to two pairs of six, you could immediately see a flower design. But it needed a center diamond for the middle of the flower.
Each natural yellow colored pear shaped diamond is about 4.1 x 2.8mm in size. The total weight is 2.03ctw of fancy light yellow pear shaped diamonds. The diamonds in the middle are rose cuts. Rose cuts are fascinating as they are flat on the bottom, and the top art is faceted to a point. These rose cuts are E-F color and VS1 in clarity. To add some more detail, the rose cuts have a milgrain texture to the gold bezel holding them in.
The earrings are crafted in rich 18k yellow gold with French wires so than dangle just a little bit off your ear lobe.
