A beautiful tanzanite and diamond ring. We love the architectural design with the graduating rectangular shaped gemstones.
The ring features a natural tanzanite, emerald cut measuring 6.9 x 5.1mm, and an estimated weight of 1.00ct or more. On either side, there are two natural baguette cut diamonds. These are channel set, and a very nice quality (VS clarity and G - H color). The larger ones are 3.4 x 2.1mm, and the smaller ones are 2.5 x 1.9mm, with an estimated total weight of .35ctw.
This beauty is pre-owned but in perfect new condition. It was received as a gift and put in the jewelry box.
Important tanzanite information: This African gemstone is very beautiful and sought after because of its distinctive periwinkle color. But in a ring, you must treat them with care. Tanzanites measure 6.0 - 6.5 on the Moh's Hardness Scale. This means they are not tough stones - like diamonds or sapphires. They can scratch much easier. So do not wear this ring all day, every day. Wear it when your hands will not work in the garden, house work, or similar activities. Give it the love it deserves.
