A gorgeous, near-perfect, Art Deco diamond ring. Crafted in 18K white gold, and set with 5 antique Old European Cut diamonds. Circa 1920.
This beauty has everything you want in a vintage ring: Gorgeous design, antique cut diamonds, filigree metal work, milgrain detail on the edges, and hand-engraved design.
The five Old European cut diamonds total about .50ctw in weight. Commonly called ‘Old Euros’, they are characterized by their slightly off round shape, small tables, high crowns, larger facets and open culets. They have a distinctive and romantic look! Cut from the early 1900s until the late 1930s - early 1940s.
The ring is in impeccable condition. Whoever owned it appears to never really enjoyed it much. The shank is not thinned out, it looks as thick as when it was made.
