Rose cut is a method of gemstone faceting where the gem is generally round shape, and has a flat bottom, not a deep pointed bottom half. And the top part of the gem is domed with triangle shaped facets. The center of the top comes to a point. It is an ancient form of gemstone faceting that is seeing a revival today.
Each ring is handmade. Each gemstone is a different size or shape, so the bezel has to be made by hand to fit that stone specifically. So each one will be unique, just like the wearer.
