Why Talking Is a Good Idea
Buying jewelry online is intimidating. We should know. We've been selling online for 17 years.
We've taken a totally different approach. A personal one.
Remember how experiences used to be intimate? Jewelry buying should be an intimate experience.
It isn't about having the largest selection, or selling the cheapest (i.e. low quality) jewelry. We’re not aiming to be the Amazon of jewelry. We are a family-owned jewelry store in Modesto (California) that is very picky about quality and design. That's been our calling card since 1989.
Beautiful jewelry should stir the soul. Before selecting a piece for display we ask, “How does this design make me feel?”
In a world of infinite choice, it’s nice to slow down and appreciate the work of master craftsmen.
Don’t use your credit card to buy this. Not yet.
It’s 5:40 AM in Modesto right now. Call us and see why we fell in love with this piece. One shouldn’t ever have to buy jewelry online without asking all your questions first. Oh, that’s right, that’s what makes us different from the thousands of online jewelry sites out there.
When you call you aren’t talking to an agent in a call center. Your talking to either Ron Yates, Ashton Yates-Woolley, Marissa Stewart, Mechelle Yates, or Justice Carillo at our Modesto store location.

A gorgeous custom design. This piece is a collaboration between Vahan and Yates.
Interesting story on this design: One of our wonderful Vahan collector clients is also a huge horse enthusiast. She loves riding her horse, collects and wears lots of horse jewelry, in general, just has a passion for all things equine. She was so disappointed that Vahan didn't have a horse head bracelet. Her favorite bracelets are Vahan, and her favorite jewelry theme is horses. So why not a marriage of the two?
Vahan has a jaguar, a dragon, and a lion - but no horse. She asked if we could design one. So we did.
The process was much more difficult than we anticipated. Not only to design the 3-dimensional horse head end, but the engineering of it to fit the beaded Vahan bracelet properly, the angles, positions, determining dimensions, etc. Designing a ring or a pendant would have been much simpler.
Many, many different cad designs were done, models were made and fitted to the bracelet, until finally, after six months we had it! And it turned out spectacular.
We decided to craft the horse heads in a richer 18K yellow gold instead of the standard 14K. We really wanted the gold to contrast from the sterling silver. We used genuine marquise shaped rubies - not round rubies. Why? A horse's eye is not round, it's more almond shaped, like the marquise shape ruby.
We put a diamond collar down at the beaded fluted ends, adding a bit more beautiful luxury to it.
Why are the horse's ears back? This is the position they naturally are when the horse is running, and our client loves to gallop on her horse. (There really is no feeling quite like being on the back of your horse, with the wind blowing in your face, as you gallop together as a team. )
So far, only one of these Vahan bracelets exists. Perfect for the horse lover.
This is a custom, made to order bracelet = final sale & excluded from coupon and/or any other promotion.
