Fit for your princess. The Catherine is hand crafted by our master platinum smith. Built exclusively for this center diamond, so we get a perfect fit on the bezel. Made in precious platinum with the great attention to detail. Notice the fine milgrain edges - all done by hand. (By contrast, the lower quality "cast" rings have milgrain which is very muted.)
Before each diamond is set the metal underneath the stones (the seats we call it) are hand polished. This helps the small diamonds to actually have more brilliance than if the metal wasn't hand polished. Just another small attention to detail that makes the ring really come alive.
The pictures don't really show it, but the sides of the top of the ring have have beautiful pierced filigree. Also, the edges of the center head have an engraved design. These are details that a very fine hand made ring from the 1920s would have. That is how we are making our vintage inspired rings.
The center diamond came out of an old antique ring that was damaged from 1920-1930 era. It is now GIA graded as VS2 clarity and I color, a very fine diamond. It is an authentic vintage diamond that is set into a new vintage inspired ring.
Ring is size 6.0 - but can easily be resized. Also, we can custom make this ring to hold a different diamond. Contact us and let's work together!
