The vintage spider web pin's design is so imaginative; it is really incredible. There are so many interesting elements. The sterling silver spider and spider web are the focus. Surrounding that, there is an 18K yellow gold crescent shaped base. Notice how this part has a recessed center with a really cool texture on the gold. It almost looks rutilated. It is a very costly method of texturizing precious metal.
There are also three natural gemstones: an Old European cut diamond, red ruby and blue sapphire. These are all set into star shaped raised settings. Each stone is about 2.0mm size. The diamond would be about .03ctw.
On each end are 14k rose gold decorative leafs with hand forged scrolls. It really adds a fancy touch!
You will never see another one like this. Do not miss out. Especially if you have a thing for spiders (I personally am fascinated by them.) Or maybe you are a Charlotte's Web fan.
