This mid-century vintage Tiffany & Co flower brooch is the perfect addition to your jewelry collection. Circa mid 1950s, crafted in rich 18K yellow gold. At this time, Tiffany was producing a variety of beautiful nature inspired organic designs. These pieces evoke a period of simpler times.
Tiffany named the design Lily of the Valley. There are seven (7) 2.0mm natural round blue sapphires set as the flower blooms. The way the piece is shaped with the gentle curves on the leaves and stems is truly beautiful. Notice how the stems at the bottom are gathered together - just gorgeous! No wonder Tiffany pieces are so sought after by jewelry conniseurs and collectors.
On the back, it is marked TIFFANY & CO, 18K, ITALY. This pin/brooch is in perfect condition with the Florentine finish on the leaves as fresh as the day one lucky lady first opened the little blue box.
