A gorgeous 2-stone diamond vintage ring.   In French, the name of a two stone ring is Toi et Moi, meaning "you and me".  This style of ring was popularized back in the late 1790s and early 1800s after Napolean Bonaparte proposed to Josephine with an engagement that featured two main stones.  How romantic!

This beauty is hand crafted in precious platinum.  It features as the two main stones, a .63ct Old European Cut diamond, and a .56ct  Old European Cut diamond.  These are so stunning.  We love Old Euros!  They just have a different look than a modern cut diamond.  Old European Cut diamonds are from the 1920s - 1940s.  You'll notice the small table, they have high crowns, open culets, and large noticeable facets.  The way they are faceted, these antique diamonds throw off a rainbow of colors!

Surrounding the two main diamonds, are twenty-two (22) small single cut diamonds.  These add just the right amount of sparkle to the mounting!

Take a gander at the side view, from the finger angle.  Notice the beautiful open filigree detail. Just lovely!

The edges of the metal have hand applied milgrain detail - as was common back then. Nowadays, if a ring has milgraining it is almost always heavy and cast in the ring - not hand cut.

The total diamond weight is estimated at 1.45ctw.  (The two center stones were pulled and weighed so we could get accurate diamond weights.)
