This exquisite Art Deco filigree ring is delicate, feminine yet takes your breath away.
The ring is made to hold around a .60ct stone. It is securely set with 6 beads in a hexagon shaped center.
This gorgeous engagement ring has a wonderfully romantic airy feel. Made from original dies and hubs that are a century old.
A few years ago a forgotten collection of original 100 year old ring dies and hubs were discovered in a warehouse in Providence, Rhode Island. Using these lost dies the filigree rings can now be made again.
You can tell the modern reproductions from the original dies easily if you look close. The originals, like this ring, are delicate, airy without a lot of metal. The modern pieces by contrast are much heavier and thicker because they are cast, not pierced.
The price does not include a gemstone. Contact us for a diamond price. We have lots of stones that would work - from modern cut diamonds to antique cut diamonds. Or you can choose a colored gem, like a gorgeous blue sapphire.
